Construction to Begin in July 2025 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School

We are pleased to share an update regarding the six-classroom addition to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School, which will provide 138 additional student spaces to support our growing Catholic learning community in north Oshawa.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early July 2025, with work continuing throughout the summer and into the fall. We anticipate the new classrooms will be ready for students and teachers to use in January 2026, following the Christmas break.

Throughout the construction period, safety will remain our top priority. We are working closely with school staff and the construction team to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to maintain a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. We are committed to minimizing disruptions to school operations during construction.
